Multiplication and Division

The Grapes of Math - This book is one of several wonderful picture riddle books by Greg Tang. They invite students to see numbers as groups of smaller numbers (subitize) and supports skip counting and early understanding of multiplication.

The Doorbell Rang - Ma makes a dozen cookies for her two children to share. Each ring of the doorbell brings more friends to share the same delicious cookies Ma has made. Students can explore division, fair sharing, skip counting, problem solving as they start again and redistribute each time a new friend arrives.
